We know that accents are everywhere. We all have one, and depending on where someone has lived and how old they were when they lived there, we may have a combination of many accents in our speaking pattern. You may also like: I'm a Native American English speaker...With an Accent.
The United States is no exception: Some estimate that there are over 30+ regional accents within America alone!
So where did all these accents come from? I found an interesting video by Business Insider that illustrates the history of the American accents:
